the making of a copywriter…
1988: won my first writing award in elementary school
♥1990: won my third writing award in elementary school
♥1991: deemed gifted in creative writing
♥1997: achieved my first publication (hamilton newspaper; arts and entertainment writer)
♥2000: landed my first paid writing job as an editorial assistant
♥2001: promoted to associate editor
♥2006: began my career in copywriting; digital marketing firm in toronto
♥2006: moved myself to london, england to grow, thrive, succeed
♥2006: joined my first international agency, based in Leicester Square
♥2007: became the editorial team’s go-to creative writer
2007: asked to lead a 4-month, international project for Nokia (launch of a luxury handset)
♥2008: started freelancing; clients included harrods, timberland, gallliard homes, vodafone
♥2010: began writing a non-fiction book series about loss and the grieving process
♥2013: qualified as a psychotherapist in the uk, strengthening my craft (and my humanity)
♥2015: landed several freelance gigs doing very cool things for very cool people
♥2016: moved home, settled in, re-adapted
